ABOUT ME ...(continued)
I was introduced to Sewin (Sea trout) fishing by my brother in-law James, who is a very talented natural angler and a good Salmon fisher on the fly too.
We fish as many times as possible together, and enjoy the spirit and banter that brings fishermen together, and as long as the day has been enjoyable with the company of a fellow angler who has enjoyed himself, then that to me is the essence of fishing - and to catch a few fish of course, is a bonus!
In the summer we also like to fish for the shy Mullet of the estuaries with a trotting rod and centre pin reel and bread flake, a lovely way to fish with the sun on your back.
So when the season draws to an end and the Sewin are up the furthest part of the river, it's time for a spot of Salmon fishing and at the end of October each year I head north to fish the South Esk ,with James who has a beat on this beautiful un spoilt spate river. (That reminds me - I owe him a few beers!)
If you would like a relaxed and unhurried guided fishing trip with some humour (free of charge and a beer at the end of the day) please contact me.
Spencer.
